Organization Overview

Nestled near the North Shore of Oahu, in the rural town of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Hawaiian Vinegar & Spice Company is on a mission to turn agricutlural surplus into culinary excellence. Committed to sustainability, we rescue off-grade and fresh produce from local farmers, playing a vital role in reducing food waste and promoting an environmentally friendly food system. We are on a mission to craft world-class vinegars and vinegar based products such as a sweet drinking vinegar also known as "shrubs". These exceptional products not only taste good but contribute to positive social and environmental impact. Our sweet and tart vinegars elevate dishes, from salads to marinades, inspiring chefs and home cooks alike. Additionally, our tropical vinegars and vinegar syrups, or shrubs, provide a refreshing twist to beverages and cocktails, balancing sweetness and acidity. We are so glad you are here to join us on the journey of turning surplus into excellence, indulging in exceptional flavors while actively contributing to a more sustainable and responsible approach to food consumption. Rescue. Transform. Enjoy.
