Organization Overview

Kanbol Inc. turns what's left in the cornfield into food packaging that breaks down clean. We upcycle corn stover — the leaves, husks, stalks, and cobs that remain after the kernel is harvested — into compostable, molded-fiber food containers. By using roughly half of the post-harvest residue that would otherwise sit in the field, Kanbol creates value from an abundant agricultural byproduct and displaces the petroleum-based plastics that still dominate single-use foodservice packaging.
